10 Bible Verses to Remind you that God is with you

God is surrounding us at all times, however sometimes we let other things cloud our thoughts and He seems far away. All we have to do is reach out and God will be there for us!! These are bible verses to help you through hard times and remind you God hasn't gone anywhere.

1. Isaiah 41:10 - "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God: I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

God is our even present strength. He tells us over and over throughout the bible "HELLOOOOO I'M RIGHT HERE!" we just have to listen to his call and respond.

2. Zephaniah 3:17 "The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you with his love; he will rejoice over you with loud singing"

God is your number one fan. He made you, he created you from nothing. When you are happy, he is happy. When you are sad, he is sad.

3. Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."

God is our protector. Our warrior. He will never leave us to fight our own battles!

4. Isaiah 43:2 "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you."

God is with you even when things get rough and you think you have to face it all alone. YOU DON'T!!! God keeps you out of harms way if you only ask for his help and actually believe he will help you.

5. Romans 8:38-39 "For i am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."

God doesn't want us to be apart from him, and he will do everything to show us his love. We just have to accept the love and remove the scales from our eyes to see his love.

6. Psalms 59:16 "You are my fortress, my place of protection in times of trouble."

Gods love is a fortress, it surrounds you and helps you to keep out the bad.

7. Jeremiah 29:13 " You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart"

God isn't playing hide and seek. He is standing out in the open waiting for you to accept him!!! Just go after God with all you have, you wont be disappointed.

8. Matthew 6:25, 28 ""Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on... Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these."

This is my favorite verse, I have to remind myself constantly that God didn't create me so that i could spend my life on earth struggling and barely getting by. Have the faith that he will take care of you and he will. GOD ALWAYS PROVIDES.

9. John 16:32 "I am not alone, for my father is with me."

This is such an important reminder. Some days, you may feel utterly alone. Without hope and joy, BUT if you believe in God, you will never have that feeling because God is with you.

10. Revelation 1:17 "Then He placed His right hand on me and said: Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last."

God is surrounding us at all times. He is the first and the last. Simply knowing that God, your fiercest protector, is with you from the first moment of life to last moment of life is such good news. We never have to face anything alone. And to me, that is amazing.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
