Dear God, I Can't Thank You Enough For Being There For Me

Dear God,

Thank you for your unconditional love. You are there anytime from day to night. You are my 24/7 counselor. You take my fear and anxiety away when the time comes. The love you have for me is never-ending. I can say anything, and it will be forgiven. When I get worried you calm me down and lead me on the right path. You listen when my heart aches with sadness. There is nothing you can't do because you turn the darkness into light. You do amazing things for us when we don't ask for it. You put meaning into our lives and you teach us by example. I would have never have known the true meaning of the expression when one door closes another one opens. We can learn so much from your teachings. When we feel lost or distant in our path of life, you are always there to show us the way. Your words open our hearts to extraordinary things. You show us compassion and forgiveness when we stray down the wrong path. A purpose comes from you because you put us on this earth with a purpose. God, you give us a fresh start every day we wake up. Our past is our past--we can't let it define us. The key is the future. You take away the evil in our hearts and in our lives and you replace it with peace. You take our suffering and you calm it with your presence. We take being thankful for granted. We should be thankful for the many blessings we have in our life everyday, not just once a year on Thanksgiving.

Your love is never-ending, and we need it more than ever.

I feel like saying thank you isn't enough.

Sincerely,

A girl who prays a lot

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
