Girls with short hair defy female hair standards, which can prove to be very rewarding. But having short hair as a female comes with its own benefits and challenges. Whether you have a pixie cut or a bob cut, girls with short hair can relate to the following:
Saving Money on Shampoo
I used to use two globs of shampoo or conditioner to cleanse my hair: one for my scalp, and another for the locks of hair. Now I'm down to one glob for my scalp, and I am spending about half of the money I normally would on shampoo. Short hair proved to be cost effective in this respect.
Always Changing your Opinion on How Your Hair Looks
From having short hair, I have learned that hair, in general, grows fast. When it's cut short, the change of growth becomes quite more noticeable. I'm bothered when my hair grows too long, which makes me more eager to cut it back to a suitable length.
Cutting you Hair
While I spend less time and money on cleaning my hair, I need to cut my hair often, simply for the reason that growth is more noticeable. I cut my hair every 2 months, which is about the schedule on which my brothers cut their hair. I usually cut my hair slightly shorter than how I want it, so that it can grow into a more comfortable length.
Current you vs. Past you
Some girls with short hair adopted the hairstyle, which meant previously cutting off inches of hair. People look radically different with short versus long hairstyles. I often hide all past photos of myself with long hair, primarily for the purpose that I looked very different than how I do now.
Regardless of hairstyle, girls are still the same person with long or short hair. Accepting how you look and having confidence in your hairstyle is especially important to maintaining happiness with your general appearance.
