So my 21st birthday is later this week.

With that being said I decided I should make a list of things that I think all women should do before they turn 21 years-old because it will help them later on down the road.

1. Buy your own car.

2. Write a resume.

3. Write a letter of resignation.

4. Live away from your parents.

5. Pay your own bills.

6. Learn to say no.

7. Take a leadership position.

8. Make a risky decision.

9. Learn not to take any ones shit.

10. Know when it is time to walk away.

11. Know when a relationship is toxic.

12. Have good friends.

13. Buy an adult interview outfit.

14. Know what you want to do with your life.

15. Know how to cook.

16. Know how to grocery shop.

17. Know how to make a budget.

18. Know how to make a cup of coffee.

19. Know how to have fun.

20. Know how to stay safe.

21. Know when you need to ask for help when you need it.
