Anyone who knows me, knows I absolutely love target. However, like many people, when I go to target I never buy the one thing I went for. Instead I end up buying the entire store. Without further adieu, here are some of the many thoughts that cross my (and yours I’m sure) mind.

1. I’m only going for one thing. I need shampoo, that is all. I’m going to go straight to that section, get what I need, pay and leave. That is it. There will be no looking around.

2. Should I get a cart? No. I only need one thing. Focus.

3. Well, it can’t hurt to look in the dollar section right? I mean they have such cute little things for just a dollar! Ooh this is so cute! I should buy this, you never know when it might come in handy!

4. Actually, let me get a cart just in case. It’s a good thing I didn’t get too far into the store.

5. While I’m here, let me stop and get some starbucks to enjoy while I get the one thing I came for.

6. They already have their bathing suits out? Well, I guess I can go look at them right? What harm can that do? Oh this is cute! And so is this one! And this one! Let me go try these on! They’re so cheap! I’ll just get them all.

7. If I’m getting bathing suits, I have to get a cover up to match them. I can’t just walk around in a bathing suit all day.

8. I’m also going to need flip flops to wear too! I can’t forget those!

9. Okay. Enough fooling around. Time to focus. Oh that dress is so cute! I need to buy this! After all, I can wear it to that party I have coming up! Let me go try this on!

10. OMG these shoes will match the dress perfectly! They’re only $15 too! Perfect!

11. Oh! I also need to get little Timmy a birthday present! Might as well look in the toy aisle while i’m here!

12. Okay, remember what you came for. Focus.

13. These mugs are the cutest. Christmas is coming up, so maybe I’ll get them for all of my friends.

14. If i’m getting mugs, they’ll need stuff to go with it. Like tea, and Hot Chocolate! Perfect! Christmas shopping: Check!

15. Oh look! Makeup! I need to get more concealer. OMG this lip stain color is so cute! It matches my skin tone! That rarely happens, I need to get this.

16. I could really use some more perfume! These all smell so nice! I can’t choose just one. (throws three into the cart).

17. Oh wow, my cart is getting pretty full. I think it’s time to check out.

18. I really spent that much money?

19. Will all these bags fit in my car? I guess we’ll find out!

20. Shoot! I forgot shampoo! I’ll just go back this weekend!

I frequent target more times than I probably should, considering I am a broke college student. But there is something about the store that I just love. However, like most people, nine times out of ten I come out with the entire store but the one thing I went in for. It happens almost every time. Which leads to the “I’ll just go back…” and it happens all over again.
