Tequila has been around longer than I can remember, which isn't saying much seeing as I'm only 21 years old.

Tequila shots have become a cultural thing to do on your twenty first to begin the next trip around the Earth.

I do not condone underage drinking, but if you are twenty one, I suggest giving tequila a shot this summer, pun intended.

1. Tequila won't hurt you unless you drink too much.

Tequila is an inanimate liquid so it can't physically hurt you unless you get alcohol poisoning. That, however, is your fault because you put an excessive amount of alcohol into your body.

2. Tequila won't cheat on you.

If you've recently been dumped or you've been single for a while, you know that tequila isn't going to cheat on you like a man or woman would. Tequila can't cheat on you, tequila loves you.

3. Tequila shots are the best shots.

Have you ever had a shot of Fireball? Tequila will go down a lot smoother and you'll thank me for it later.

4. Tequila makes everyone look good.

After a couple shots anyone can look better than before. The guy wearing a cowboy hat sipping a Corona looks like Channing Tatum. The girl in the crop top and bright red lipstick looks like your future ex-wife. The power of tequila.

5. Tequila encourages bold choices.

Tequila is just liquid courage. You could end up proposing to the love of your life in the middle of the bar or sleeping with your ex. Drink responsibly and you'll act as such.

6. Tequila will be your new best friend.

Tequila can't do you wrong so it can become your best friend easily. It's not gonna sleep with your ex or stab you in the back. Tequila can be trusted.

7. You don't have to take the shot.

Tequila has multiple uses. You can put your shot in a margarita for a refreshing good time or you can add it to a carbonated beverage for an even better time. It's not just about shots.

8. Tequila has health benefits.

Tequila is known for lowering bad cholesterol and raising good cholesterol! It also aids in weight-loss by speeding up your metabolism.

9. Tequila is featured on Grey's Anatomy, so, yeah.

Grey's fans, I didn't forget about you. Meredith Grey and Christina Yang love taking shots of tequila to drown in their misery. Like they say, "We screw boys like w****s on tequila."

Tequila can be a good time or a bad time. Give it a shot, pun intended, this summer. If you are not twenty one, I don't condone drinking any alcohol until you turn twenty one. Happy tequila drinking! Viva tequila!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
