Girl Code is a universal set of rules that all females are supposed to follow. My first encounter with "girl code" happened when I was in 3rd grade. I had a crush on a boy named Brian, and my friend told me I wasn't allowed to like him because she used to like him. I asked her why, and she answered with two simple words...girl code. Here are a fe rules that should always be followed.

1. Never date a friend's ex.

2. Rescue any girl being hit on by a creep.

3. If you notice a girl is in a dangerous situation, help her out.

4. Never blow off your friend for a boy.

5. Always allow/participate in venting sessions.

6. Don't slut shame other girls.

7. Clue girls in on their cheating boyfriends.

8. Don't be afraid to compliment.

9. Tell the truth if your friend's outfit isn't working.
