Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a great show. It's got it all: relatable characters, iconic one-liners, and humorous approaches to real life issues. (If you don't already watch it, you should.) The character I personally identify with is Gina Linetti, the civilian administator and sass-master for the 99th Precinct. Here are just 21 of Gina's most relatable moments:
1. When you give the perfect insult without a stutter.
2. When your lab partner blurts out yet another ridiculously uninformed political statement.
3. When your prof lets class end early but people try and talk to you.
4. When your Netflix binge ends at four in the morning.
5. When you make above a 70 on a test in your hardest class.
6. When your roommate asks you to clean your dishes.
7. When you get your wings just right and your hair is perfection.
8. When you've been in class all day and FINALLY get a chance to hit the food court.
9. When you fail your midterm and you're crafting an angry 2 a.m. email to your professor (that you probably won't send).
10. When someone asks why you never wear matching shoes, socks, or, well, anything.
11. When you check your grades and they're not great.
12. When someone new adds you on Snapchat and their name is consists of just the 100 emoji.
13. When someone suggests a cross-country road trip when you have three dollars to your name.
14. When your roommate abandons homework for a night out... again.
15. When you start your all-nighter to study for your final the next morning.
16. When you see all your split ends and you just have to take care of them immediately.
17. When your Tinder date doesn't leave a tip, even though service was great.
18. When your professor reminds the class of the homework that's due that night.
19. When your significant other makes a harmless joke about you.
20. When your outfit is fire and your best friends don't compliment it as soon as they see you.
21. When someone says "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" isn't all that great.
