Being a sophomore in college, I was super excited for next year because I had the opportunity to get off campus housing. No RAs (if my RA is reading this, you are awesome), no more annoying neighbors, no more random a.m. fire drills and, most importantly, I get to save money. Going into sophomore year, I had an idea about whom I wanted to live with, but like everything, time changes things. By the time we started to look for a house, we had about 5-6 people. Since we didn't know how this really worked, we just started to look at houses but soon realized that we were behind the ball and actually needed to find a house. So here is a series of GIFs to explain our continuing journey.
1. Excitement.
At the beginning, we were more than excited to be getting off campus and looking for a house.
2. Disappointment.
3. Anger.
4. Defeat.
5. Gratefulness.
When you finally find a house for next semester. Thank you, Taylor, you're a life saver.
To conclude, when looking for a house, do not wait. Look ASAP. If I didn't know someone, we probably would have been on campus. So if you want an off-campus house look now, and may the odds be in your favor.
