It's the most wonderful time of the year. Some may think we're talking about Christmastime, others Hanukkah. No, it's not Halloween yet, and Spring Break is not even on the horizon. Game day season is upon us, and we could not be in better spirits. We have been waiting for this since the final whistle of the seventh home game last fall, and now we're finally here. Here is a rundown of a typical game day in the Swamp:
Waking up on game day like
and consuming the greatest breakfast only suited for such a day.
When you're getting ready with your friends
and then leaving the house to go to the tailgate pregame.
Arriving at the tailgate
When the food comes out:
Beer-related activities:
Walking around trying to find your friends
but finally finding your friends dancing on the tables.
When someone offers you another drink
and suddenly you realize you're too drunk to interact with other humans.
When your favorite song comes on:
Walking around trying to gather your friends before the game
and finally getting there like
Celebrating after a great day and a Gator win
and finally getting into bed until Tuesday.
