Are you tired of Instagram changing up the way posts are showing up on your feed? Are you tired of being subtweeted on Twitter? Tired of parents and grandparents taking over Facebook? Trust me, I am too, but that's why I decided to try out a new kind of social media, an app called Fyuse. The more I used the app, the more I realized how relevant it could be to young people's lives, especially college students because of all the features it offers.

What other app can give you live, 3D photos?

Let's say you wanted to take a picture of the snow outside during winter but all you get is blurry streaks across the photo. With Fyuse, you can quite literally capture the snowflakes falling. All you have to do is move your phone slowly from left to right while recording the photo in the app, then when you want to view your 3D photo, you move your phone from side to side to see the whole thing as if it is really moving.

Here's an example!

The explore page can take you anywhere!

When you first enter the explore page it can seem a little overwhelming with all of the options in front of you. From popular fyuses to trending fyuses and then all of the specific categories.

Let's break a few of these down...

Going to a party and need outfit inspiration?

In the style section of the explore page, you can find hundreds of outfits being modeled by different people with different styles. Not only can you gain some inspiration from all of these outfits, you can share your own outfit of the day too!

Also, if you really love one of the outfits or want to save it for later, you can either "echo" it to your followers, which is basically just sharing the post, or adding it to one of the galleries you make on your profile.

Studying abroad during college?

You can keep your family and friends updated with posting fyuses of the places you have been! Not only will they get a glimpse of the beauty that you are seeing, but with the live, 3D photos, it will feel as if they are really there.

Stressed out about exams and need something to help you relax?

There's even an animal section on the app for everyone to share cute 3D photos of their pets. Taking a look at these pictures can help you relax and even brighten your day a little more.

Every hungry college section needs some food inspiration, too.

If you're baking with friends, cooking a meal for your family, or just starving in your dorm room, the food section of the explore page has thousands of different foods from all over the world to drool over.

View fyuses around your college town, too!

The Fyuse app is also a great way to keep in touch with everyone at your school because you can share your location and then view other 3D photos around you, as well!

Overall, Fyuse is a great place to share your creativity with the people around you. You can bond over sporting events on your campus, different girl's outfits every night, and the overall college experience. Don't be afraid to branch out and try a new social media app because it might just surprise you how fun it can be.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
