It's almost summer and that means the weather is getting hotter and hotter by the minute! I can't think of a better way to cool off than to consume some cold delicious treats. There are a variety of ways to use fruit to make drinks or little snacks for this warm season. Here are 10 fruit treats to try:

1. Melon Slushies.

Any melon will do. Watermelon, cantaloupe, and honeydew are my favs.

2. Homemade Ice Cream In A Bag.

This is so easy to do and you can add anything to it.

3. Sparkling Blueberry Lemonade.

Instead of using ice, freeze the blueberries instead. Then, the drink won't be watered down.

4. Chocolate-Berry Ice Cream Pie.

These pies are so simple to make and taste great. I like a good strawberry ice cream pie with sliced strawberries and grapes on top.

5. Strawberry Limeade Slushies.

A fun drink for when you aren't quite old enough to drink the alcoholic version.

6. Fruit Popsicles.

Just blend yogurt and berries- then freeze!

7. Smoothies.

I love how you can make these at home, or buy them at almost any cafe.

8. Jello Fruit Cake.

For those who are tired of plain vanilla cake, this tastes pretty good too.

9. Frozen Yogurt Fruit Bites.

You can even add some granola to the bottom.

10. Homemade Fruit Sorbet.

Berries are the best fruits to make this with.

All of these treats taste great, are easy to make and are healthy. You can make these and share with friends and family. Different variations of these desserts can be found online. I hope you enjoy these cool treats.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
