To the one who feels as if they are drowning,

I've been, am, and will always be you.

Just breathe.

Life is hard and has a wicked right hook. It throws punches left and right and tricks you into thinking everything is okay one minute and then you're hurt the next.

Everything will work out.

One day at a time, a smile will start to come on your face out of your own doing and no one else's. One day, the rain will go away and you will see the clear skies with a radiating sun. With that, you'll see the positivity that's been hiding.

It will happen. Just breathe.

Take a moment to sit back and calm down with the silence, and realize that everything will happen in God's timing. Everything is His doing and, although He isn't the creator of evil, He is in control of it.

He might allow things to happen to you that make you feel broken, torn, and beaten, but He has a plan for every minuscule detail that makes your heart and mind crumble. He makes the devil pay for everything that he does to you. He watches and allows you to feel empty, but just at the right moment, he comes in and holds your hand.

He allows you to cry, scream, and beg and when He knows you will benefit the most, He brings you into His arms and leads you in the direction you were meant to go.

Just be patient and breathe.

Just look up. And open, not only your eyes, but your heart and life.

Don't allow a wall to build around your sacred heart, but build a gate that opens and closes to receive, but also let go, of any good or bad thing that may come into your life. In doing that, learn to trust God's judgement. He never forsakes us and his love is never ending.

In His hands, we are the safest. Just breathe.
