Friends are one of the best things within this world. We even had a day to celebrate the wonders of friendship! There are musicals, films, and books about this amazing relationship. Today I just want to describe the best friendships I have ever had. Maybe these will be familiar to you too!
1. The Childhood Friend, All But Forgotten
I have had a few of these friends. One of my best friends is Savannah, who I knew from what seemed my whole life to second grade will always be special to me. We shared everything, we did everything, and I was heartbroken when she left for Nevada. I still remember her explaining how far she was leaving in the school bathroom. I kept making jokes, trying to tell her we would still be friends. We are but only in the way of memories.
Other friends like these just sort of left my life, either for new friends or schools. I still remember you all fondly, and sometimes to see you on Facebook doing amazing things with your life!
2. The Internet Friend
Yes you! I love you all sweeties! From fandom to Keep Fighting Campaigns I am with you! You have helped me when I am lonely and unable to deal with reality, when I cannot reach friends physically, and sometimes just out of the blue! It is a wonderful feeling to know someone across the world has your back and who loves you too.
3. The Friends From Home
You guys are my home, literally. I can't believe how much you love me to keep in touch and to hang out whenever I am home, to plan visits and just remember silly things like birthdays. You are my chosen family and I wish I could drag you along with me where ever I go, but you have lives now too. I guess we will love each other distantly and be content.
4. The College Friends
You guys are the best! Late night, food, and the occasional cry from homesickness. You are one of the strangest friendships I have every had, but I am so glad it happened! If you ever need me, just text, call, or even snail-mail! I will do my best to stay with you in whatever way I can, because you have helped me through a tough point in my life.
5. The Friend Away From Home
Please be safe. We all love you, miss you, and hope you are having the time of your life! I just want to let you know that every once in a while we get together and think of you. You always bring a smile to my face, and I can't wait for your next phone call! Until next time, I'll be planning that reunion of yours.
6. The Best Friend
You are really all I want in the world, most of the time. You keep me going and somehow you have more compassion than I can imagine. You are the best person I know, and I wish I could be more like you. Thank you for telling me I'm and idiot when I need it. Thank you for telling me a good person when I need it. I'm in this world today still because of you.

I do not know why you hang out with me but I love you.
