I, along with many other people, am a huge fan of the Harry Potter series. The more I watch or hear about the series, the more I think that each character can definitely relate to people we all know and love in real life.

You all know that your friend group has at least most people like this in it...

Harry

If you know someone who reminds you of Harry, you know they always makes things about them. This person is a leader, but sometimes gets you in dangerous and difficult to explain situations. This person always is the hero, and relies on help from friends to get by.

Ron

A friend like our favorite redhead is always going to be a bit goofy. This person doesn't always know what's going on and is sometimes behind on the plans. But even if they aren't in the loop, they always have your back even when it's a stupid idea. A friend like Ron will always give to others even when they don't have much to start with.

Hermione

A person like Hermione is smart. This person is always ready to correct you, and they use their knowledge to help as best as they can. If you get in trouble after not listening to them, this person will almost always be the type to say "I told you so". They also are a lot of power in a tiny, unexpected package.

Malfoy

This friend is the one that everyone hates. They are a huge snob, and will definitely tell their parents what you did. They are always one to a be a tattletale or kiss up, and it really rubs the rest of you the wrong way.

Neville

There is none like Neville. A friend like him will always be a loyal friend. this person will always be down to help you out, but they are not afraid to call you out on your mistakes and stupidity. The bottom line is that a friend like Neville will always stand up for you.

Luna

Luna Lovegood is certainly one of a kind. A friend like Luna will likely be crazy and weird, but you love them anyway. This person tends to believe things that aren't there and lives in a fantasy world of their own dreams. But even if they are in a cloud a lot of the time, this friend always speaks the truth and tells it like it is.

Ginny

A person you know that is like Ginny is the one who is often forgotten in the mix of the action. They are usually shy and don't always have too much to say. But like Ron, a friend like Ginny will always have your back and will fight on your side. This person can definitely get mixed up in some bad luck.

Molly Weasley

A person like Molly is the definition of a mom friend. They will make you food and take you into their house when you can't stay in your own. They will get you presents and ALWAYS protect the ones they love.

Snape

If you have a friend like Snape, it's likely that this person was your enemy but now is a close friend when you took the chance to get to know them. A friend like Snape cares about you more than you think and wants to protect you. They have a dark sense of humor and style. If you lose them, they will be your hardest loss to get over.

Dumbledore

This friend is wise and a little bit crazy. This person gives good advice even though you don't always understand it. You're often scratching your head wondering what this person is talking about but once you figure it out you have the key to life. This person is likely very old, or has an old soul. They probably remind you of your grandparents in some way.

So, next time you watch Harry Potter, think of how they remind you of people in your own life, and how relevant those wizards and magic really are to real life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
