I am absolutely the "mom" of my friend group. I am notorious for carrying an absurdly over-sized bag with everything anyone could ever need in it, and carrying it at all times. I am always prepared for anything that may come my way. Heck, I just may be more prepared than the Boy Scouts. These are some of the items that I, like you if you are the "friend mom", ALWAYS have in my giant bag.

5. Pens/Pencils

6. Makeup bag

7. Hand-sanitizer

8. Lotion

9. Band-aids

10. Water

11. Deodorant

12. Snacks

13. Perfume

14. Paper

15. An umbrella

17. Wet naps

18. Phone charger

19. Sunglasses

21. A tiny thread kit

22. Nail polish

23. Hair ties

24. Bobby pins

25. A hairbrush

26. One-time use tooth brushes

People may make jokes about your huge purses stuffed to capacity but hey, you always have exactly what they need whenever they need it, and for that they thank you. Rock on, friend mom.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.
