Your Friend Group as Described By "Sex and The City"

Sex and The City is an iconic show whose audience spans generations. Every close knit group of girlfriends, regardless of age, has a Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda that make their group complete. Now the real question is, which one are you? Continue reading to find out!

1. Carrie

Carrie is the fashionista and free spirit of the group. She is also the glue that holds everyone together. Her loyalty and commitment to her friends is truly admirable. She is constantly in the pursuit of "real love" which she describes as, "Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can't-live-without-each-other love." Although she faces numerous heart breaks, she never stops in her pursuit of this real love and she never settles or changes herself for a man, something that is truly admirable.

2. Samantha

Samantha is the life of the party and she is not afraid to tell it like it is. She is also not afraid to do whatever (or whomever) she wants. Samantha is the woman who has it all: She is beautiful, successful, and loved by her group of friends. You do not want to cross a Samantha or hurt any of her friends because she will come after you and make you pay. Her humor and strength make a Samantha very lovable.

3. Charlotte

Charlotte is the traditional one of the group. She wants the husband, the 2.5 kids, and a white picket fence. She also believes that everyone can find their happily ever after. Her optimism is contagious. Although she is definitely the most conservative one out of the group, she never fails to shock us with some of her raunchier outbursts. Never underestimate a Charlotte: Although she seems sweet and docile, she has a strength inside her and mama bear will come out when she needs to protect those she loves.

4. Miranda

Miranda is in many ways the opposite of Charlotte. She is more concerned with her own personal happiness and career than with creating a perfect family. That isn't to say that she doesn't want to have kids or find love, it just isn't at the forefront of her mind 24/7. Miranda is not afraid to call her friends out when they are wrong or acting stupid when it comes to a man, but she also knows when to just shut her mouth and be a listening ear or shoulder to cry on.

So there's each friend group in a nut shell. Each friend is admirable and lovable for their owns reasons and they all bring something unique to the table. With a group as dynamic as this, there is never a dull moment.

As our good friend Carrie Bradshaw once said, "Nothing lasts forever; dreams change, trends come and go, but friendships never go out of style."
