Hey Buddy Boy,
Our relationship has been far from ordinary. There have been more bumps in the road than I can count, but we've always remained good friends. In fact, we became better then friends. We became best friends which lead to us becoming inseparable from the very beginning.
When we first met, it was a little awkward considering I was looking for your roommate and you opened the door, but that's beside the point. We quickly realized we are the same person, so it made it really easy to talk to you and find things to talk about. We used to spend hours each day just talking about random stuff, and googled some things we wish we could un-see (you should know what I'm talking about with this). It was so nice finding someone who I could connect with and spend all day with without getting sick of them.
While all of this was great, I knew you were a year older than me, so I knew this day would come. I knew you weren't going to be around my senior year which I was fine with until it was time to say bye.
The more I think about it, the sadder I get because I don't know who I'm going to rant to after a bad day or who I'm going to eat lunch and dinner with literally every day. I'll miss our pillow fights and picking on you, but I'm extremely proud of you, and I hope you know that.
While I may be sad that you're leaving, I know you're off to do good things, and I'll see you again someday. Not everyone graduates from college, and not everyone earns as many credits as you did in 4 years. Honestly, I'm not sure how you did it considering I barely saw you do any work in the last 3 years that I've known you. It's still pretty impressive.
While there were days you annoyed the crap out of me, there were a lot more good times than bad. It's going to be so weird watching football games without you and only cooking dinner for one person. Move-in day is going to be the weirdest because I won't have your help like I do every other year, but I'll survive.
You've made the last three years extremely memorable, and I can't wait to make more memories in the future. You have to come visit in the fall anyway because we need to break our mini golf tie. Anyway, I'm going to miss you, but thank you so much for being the greatest friend I could ask for. I'll miss seeing you, and I'll miss calling you annoying every single day.
Good luck in the real world, buddy. I'll see you soon.
Love,
Stephanie
