1. When your dog is being suspiciously too quiet and is out of sight

He is either napping or destroying something.

2. When your dog keeps sniffing every blade of grass and won't take a sh*t

"Hurry up and shit before I freeze to death!"

3. Your dog when you realize he has something in his mouth that is NOT food

*proceeds to chew faster*

4. When someone says your dog is so cute

Yes, my dog is the cutest. He is the best. You should be jealous.

5. When you yell at your dog and feel bad after

"I am so sorry I yelled at you for eating my ear buds. You didn't mean to. I love you so much. You are the goodest boy."

6. When your dog is in mid-sleep and jumps up barking/growling at a tiny noise

It's okay, dude. It was just me reaching for the remote, but thanks for scaring me to death.

7. When you accidently step on your dog's paw

*cradles and rocks dog while crying*

8. When your dog is staring at you and starts whining

"You've already been fed and taken out. WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!"

9. When someone says anything bad about your dog

You better shut up before you catch these hands. My dog is perfect, and you are a complete idiot.

10. No matter how much your dog annoys you, you still love them unconditionally

You boop their nose, cuddle, talk baby to them, and can always depend on them to put a smile on your face from their goofiness. They are only part of your life, but to them, you are their whole life. So, give them extra cuddles tonight.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
