The first day of December is this Thursday. What better way to kick off your countdown to Christmas than by watching an array of Christmas movies 25 days in a row? The movie that has the honor of being Freeform's first movie of the 25-day long marathon of Christmas spectaculars this year is:
"Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory"

Next up after "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" is the stop motion animation Christmas movie, "The Year Without a Santa Claus."

My all-time favorite Christmas movie "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" is making its first appearance of the year on day one of 25 Days of Christmas.
Although much of the humor and profanity is edited out on Freeform, the Griswold family will give you more than enough laughs to make you and your family feel like the normal ones this season! Watch it starting at 7:05 on Thursday.
What is Christmas without Tim Allen in the classic movie, "The Santa Clause?"
Scott Calvin is a divorced dad who has custody of his son, Charlie, on Christmas Eve. They are magically transported to the North Pole, where an elf explains that Scott must take Santa's place before the next Christmas arrives. Scott thinks he's dreaming, but over the next several months he begins to realize it's anything but a dream. See it at 9:15 p.m.
Tim Burton's masterpiece, "The Nightmare Before Christmas," begins at 11:20 p.m. after The Santa Clause.
This stop-motion animated classic is a dark fantasy musical. It tells the story of Jack Skellington, a resident of Halloween Town who stumbles through a portal that takes him to Christmas Town and decides to celebrate the holiday, with some interesting and fun consequences. It features the well-known song, "This is Halloween" that you'll be sure to be singing along to by the end of the movie.
If you are one to stay up late, catch "Rudolph's Shiny New Year" at 1 a.m.!
A year after delivering Christmas presents, Santa Claus receives a letter from his friend Father Time asking for help to find Happy, the Baby New Year, before midnight on New Year's Eve, or else it will be December 31 forever. Santa sends Rudolph out to find him. If you are a night owl, be sure to check out this stop-animation classic filmed in 1976.Freeform movie line-up was received from Entertainment Weekly!
Check back next week for my must-see movie recommendations on Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas. I promise I'll tell you the best ones to see, and the ones to skip over!
