If you are like me and like to spend your free time curled up with a good book, here is a list of books that would be perfect to take with you to the beach or any vacation destination this summer!

1. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

The movie hit theaters on June 3 but I always like to read the book before I see the movie. This book is a romantic story about a man with little desire to live and woman who brings life into his world again. I recommend reading this with a box of tissues as it will take you on an emotional roller coaster.

2. The Crown by Kiera Cass

This is the anticipated conclusion to the Selection Series. This series is the perfect combination of "The Hunger Games" and "The Bachelor." It is a journey of love and being royal and all that comes with it. I found this series last summer and very quickly fell in love with not only the characters but the beautiful way Cass tells this story. I have not read this final book yet but I am looking forward to getting my own copy very soon.

3. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J.K. Rowling

If you're a fan of Harry Potter, this is already on your radar of books to get your hands on. I myself have already preordered the book since it is not coming out until July. This book is a little different than the other famous books because it is a script of the play being preformed in the U.K. Many fans everywhere are eagerly anticipating this next installment of the beloved Harry Potter franchise.

4. Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson

If you like a fast paced book full of plot twists you won't see coming, pick up a copy of this book. This book is about a group of teenagers who were experimented on and are now part bird and part human. When Angel, the youngest of The Flock gets taken back where it all began, it's up to leader Max and the rest of her flying flock to come to her rescue. Full of action, humor, and a little emotion this book will keep you on your toes. There are nine books in the Maximum Ride series and I highly recommend them all to you.

Although I am not going to the beach or on a vacation at all, I look forward to being able to curl up with these books and falling in love with these characters. What better way to spend your summer than reading?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
