If you haven't heard about the game Fortnite by now, then you must be living under a rock. This is the game that all girls are complaining stole their boyfriends away from them. But if you actually watch someone play the game, you'll probably be tempted to try it out yourself. I'm not talking about the Save The World, version. I'm talking about Battle Royale.

Battle Royale is free, which is partly why so many people started playing it. Not only are players playing, but they're watching other people play and are loving anything that has to do with Fortnite.

It is addicting. You play against 99 other people in a battle to be the last one standing. Anyone who plays is trying so hard to be the last one standing and finally get a Victory Royale. And if you've already won, you just want to keep winning.

The game requires so much of you. It is the only game I know where you really have to pay attention to sounds and what you see around you. You are constantly anxious and paranoid about being seen and killed by another player. You are never safe.

You get to pick your equipment throughout the game too. You're not guaranteed a gun you want, you have to find it. You also have to find health kits such as bandages or a med kit. You also need a shield. You have to find either small shields, large shields, or another type of shield. Certain shields or health options only give you a specific amount, so you have to strategize what you carry with you. You only have five spots in your inventory to keep things, and you need guns too.

There are different types of guns you can pick to carry if you find them. Shotguns, assault rifles, grenades, rocket launchers, etc. Plus, these guns come in different tiers, such as common, uncommon, rare, epic, and legendary. The higher the tier, the better the gun. Again, you need to use strategy to decide what guns you carry with you.

The last thing you need to carry is material. You have to chop down trees, rocks, and steel objects to get wood, brick, and steel. You collect these materials so that you can build yourself some cover to protect yourself when you're being shot at.

While you're trying to collect all this stuff, you have to be aware of your map and where the storm is. The storm is what will kill you if you're not in the safe zone which is marked on the map by a circle. So many things to consider while playing this game!

There are so many different strategies you can use to win this game and so many different options to fulfill those strategies. But most of the time, you just have to wing it because you never know what equipment you're going to find.

The creators of this game keep things interesting too. They are constantly adding new items and game modes to give players different options. They like to change things up fairly often to keep players on their toes and keep them coming back every night to play another round.

Overall, I give this game a rating so high it breaks the scale. It is the most unique game I have ever seen and it is so addicting and fun. I completely understand why people can't get enough of it.

If you haven't already, go download Fortnite on your Playstation, Xbox, computer, or phone. I highly recommend it! Did I mention it's free?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
