New Jersey has so many great spots for great food. Some you may have never even heard of, but they are worth the trip!

1. Inkwell

Everything about this place is amazing: the atmosphere, the food and the coffee (especially the Dutch Coffee).

2. Jersey Freeze

Nothing beats their homemade ice creams and the different boats.

3. Stewart's Root Beer

A nice root beer float from a classic place.

4.Bagel Nook

they have the best crazy bagels

5.The Cabin

The Cabin makes me actually excited for Monday's. 1/2 price pizza and wings, yes please!

6.Colts Neck General Store

Best Breakfast spot before school and everyday, the cougar is my personal fave with hot sauce and ketchup.

7.Frankie Fed's

They not only have AMAZING pizza but their house salad dressing is to die for I actually asked for a pint of it for Christmas once.

8.Broad Street Diner

The title it earned says it all " NJ's Best Diner". It also doesn't hurt that I know the owners and they make a banging cheeseburger soup.

9.The Chicken or the Egg

It might be all the way in Long Beach Island but sometimes i just drive there for some good food and if you are staying in LBI they are open 24/7 in the summer and the late night menu is something to look out for. Try the stoner pancakes, you won't regret it.

10. Comfi

When you go you have to share with someone because the portions are huge.

11. Meemom's

They are known for their different kinds of french toast. When you go get an iced samoa coffee it tastes just like the real thing.

12. Tre

PIZZA IS OUT OF THIS WORLD

13. Hoffman's

Get the Cookie Monster ice cream, you can thank me later.

14. Coney Waffle

Three words: BIG SHOW SHAKE

15. Porta

Great pizza and atmosphere, go at night and it's a great bar and nightclub.

16. Playa Bowls

Go to the one in Belmar, great food and a view.

17. Rook Coffee

Better than Dunkin and Starbucks anyday.

18. Broad Street Dough Co.

The most outrageous donuts yo could ask for.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
