Not So Flawless: Beyonce's 20 Worst Traits

Yonce. Bey. Queen B. Whatever you may call her, everyone knows that Beyonce is the hottest pop star in the world right now, from her surprise albums to her feminist values. But just because she’s a world-famous megastar doesn’t mean she’s perfect! These little-known facts prove that Beyonce may not be so #flawless after all.

  • Beyonce takes up three seats every time she rides the train: one for her, one for her bag, and one for a scarecrow bearing her likeness.
  • Beyonce eats peach pits. Not peaches, just the pits.
  • Beyonce makes Jay Z recite his verse from “Monster” for Blue Ivy every night at bedtime, even though she knows naming all those monsters makes him scared.

  • If you’re texting with Beyonce and you write something long and meaningful, she’ll just text back “K.” Like, how does that contribute to the conversation we’re having? Come on, Bey.
  • Beyonce didn’t like "Guardians of the Galaxy."
  • Beyonce will put on jazz when a bunch of people are hanging out, and if you’re like, “Hey B, can you play something else?” She’ll be like, “Oh you don’t get jazz,” and you’re like, “No, I get jazz, we’re just all trying to turn up and it doesn’t really fit this particular situation, y’know?” Then she gets mad and turns off the music and walks out.
  • Beyonce told Jay Z that "Magna Carta Holy Grail" was good.
  • Beyonce will regularly comment “omg u look so different!” on Michelle Williams’s Instagram with no explanation.

  • Beyonce swears she can juggle, but every time she tries she ends up breaking whatever she’s juggling and she’s like “I can’t do it with people watching!”… nah B, you just can’t juggle.
  • Beyonce has untagged Michelle Williams in every old picture of Destiny’s Child.
  • Beyonce tries to guess how a TV episode is going to end while you’re watching it with her.
  • Beyonce posts Facebook statuses like “this is why I dont trust people… u always get hurt…” and then when someone comments, “what’s wrong?” she replies “its nothing, dont worry about it…”
  • Beyonce says she taught Blue Ivy how to say “f*ck” but Blue Ivy never does it in front of people and there’s no video of it so everyone thinks Beyonce is lying.

  • Beyonce refuses to make small talk with Kim Kardashian when she and Kanye are over for dinner.
  • Beyonce tells people to watch Breaking Bad and then spoils the ending.
  • Beyonce thinks Kevin is the most talented Jonas.
  • At Quincy Jones’ Grammys party last year, Beyonce saw Michelle Williams, made eye contact, and then went back to talking to Bon Iver, effectively shutting down any chance of conversation while also implying that Bon Iver was more interesting to talk to than Michelle Williams. (He is not.)
  • Beyonce flashes a crude drawing of the prophet Muhammad onscreen in the middle of every concert.
  • Beyonce wrote, produced, and sang backup on every song on Macklemore’s last album.
  • When Beyonce displayed a giant sign that read “FEMINIST” at the end of her set at the VMAs, she actually wanted the sign to say “FARMVILLE,” a popular Facebook game Beyonce developed in 2009. Beyonce fired her entire team following the incident.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
