1. Your lame jokes are actually funny to her

Even though all of our jokes are hilarious to us, usually we are the only ones laughing. A cool thing about having a girlfriend is that you'll almost always get a pity laugh. Sometimes you'll even get a full blown laugh, which is one of the best things ever.

2. She'll enjoy the cute animal videos that you tag her in that you'll never admit that you like

Imagine you're on Facebook or Twitter, and you see a video of a festival of puppies, or you see a dog that that is attempting to speak. You instinctively tag your girlfriend in the post. I guess the videos are alright.

3. You have a person to tell you if your clothes match or not

Many times you are ready to walk out of the house, and your girlfriend stops you to tell you that your clothes don't match. You never considered that possibility because you thought all clothes matched. Apparently you're not allowed to wear a flannel with shorts.

4. You can go on fun adventures

Whenever you are anxious for a late night adventure to get ice cream, or to take a day trip to the beach, you can always count on your girlfriend to be a world class traveler with you. Just remember to bring the sunscreen.

5. You can jam out in the car to your favorite songs

Whenever your favorite song comes on the radio, you instantly look at your girlfriend, and you know that it's time for the performance of your lives. You both start waving your hands in the air like you just don't care and start singing your heart out. "American Idol," here you come.
