Pit bulls are portrayed as mean dogs because of the history of them. Dog fighting, pit bull attacks young girl stories all over the news, really the history of pit bulls is just messed. Which confuses me more than anything. I always wonder to this day how could someone be afraid of a pit bull and have a golden retriever? A dog is a dog, yes some are more aggressive, but pit bulls, in fact, are really not as aggressive as people make them seem. I grew up with two pit bulls, rescuing both of them. I have nothing to bad to say about them. These dogs are truly amazing dogs that are being labeled as something they are not. Nobody is realizing that a dog will act mean if the owner raises them wrong. It’s the people, not the dog. Let me just show you how heart warming these pups are.
1. They love to play dress up.
Thinking about putting our human clothes on our 95-pound dog is always something to laugh about. But my family really did do it. I grew up with a little sister, so our dog was constantly getting clothes put on going from Little Mermaid pajamas to a sweatshirt and jean shorts.
2. They will make your heart melt.
Some days coming home from school I would find our dogs all cuddled up with each other, or one of them zonked out of the couch. The cute puppy dog eyes, wouldn't even make you hesitate sharing your food with them every time.
3. They’re always down to nap.
Whether they come in to sleep with you in the morning before school, making you an hour late, or it’s time for bed, even just an afternoon nap; they will be right next to you hogging the bed. Making you sweat beyond words, with their loud snores basically making it impossible to sleep. Every little moment counts, right?
4. You can always count on a silly picture.
It goes from a mid nose lick, to them licking your face when you try to take a selfie with them. They are the most photogenic in the weirdest ways. Any picture you take just ends up being cute.
5. They are down to party. All the time.
