Avocados are a true super-food. You can add it to or eat it with almost anything, and it has great health benefits. You can even put your avocado on your face, your feet and your hair. Avocado is my favorite, and I am always looking for new ways to enjoy it. Here are just some of the ways you can enjoy your avocados!
1. Make avocado toast.
Avocado toast is the perfect breakfast. It's quick and easy, and is sure to fill you up and give you the energy you need to start your day. Simple mash up avocado and spread it on your toast. I always add some salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes!
2. Bake an egg into your avocado.
If avocado toast doesn't sound too appealing as far as breakfast, bake an egg into your avocado instead! All you need to do is scoop about two tablespoons from the center of your avocado, and crack an egg into each half. Place them snugly in a small baking pan and bake in a 425-degree oven for about 15-20 minutes. Feel free to top it with whatever you like.
3. Make Guacamole.
Guacamole is such a perfect snack, and it's super-easy to make. My favorite guacamole recipe consists of avocado (mashed), thinly chopped pieces of red onion, salt, pepper and a little bit of lemon and lime juice. However, you can add anything else you want such as chunks of tomato or a bit of jalapeno.
4. Put it on a burger.
As if a burger wasn't amazing enough on it's own—add some slices of avocado. I promise you will not regret it. Whether you have a classic burger or a crazy bacon cheeseburger, avocado slices will be a great addition.
5. Avocado goes great on any sandwich.
Whether it's a turkey club or a bacon, egg & cheese, adding slices of avocado will take your sandwich to the next level. You can even make a grilled cheese and add avocado!
