Five Christmas Songs You Need In Your Life

I don't know about you, but Christmas music is the number 1 thing that puts me in the holiday spirit. Hearing all the bells in the background and happily screaming the words with family and friends makes the holiday season so festive. To help you get into the holiday spirit, I've hand-picked my top five songs that just make me feel jolly and warm inside.

1. Mistletoe (A Cover) by SoMo

Okay, so I've been a Bieber fan since day 1, but something about the way SoMo puts an R&B spin on it just gets me. By all means, I highly recommend the original, but Justin also gets a spot on this list, don't worry.

2. Christmas Love By Justin Bieber

See? Justin's Christmas album was EVERYTHING in 2011, and this is one of the songs that makes me smile no matter what time of the year it is, but especially Christmastime! I dare you not to sing along.

3. All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey

Did you really think this song wouldn't make the list? This is a staple of every holiday season since 1994, and you can ask ANYONE and they will tell you the same.

4. Jingle Bell Rock By Bobby Helms

You'd be lying to yourself if you didn't sing every time this song comes on the mall, or in that scene in Mean Girls. Just accept that this song is also a staple of the holiday season.

5. Last Christmas by Taylor Swift

Taylor actually did this song really well, and I love that it was done while she was still in her country genre. It adds that charming feel to it. Also, there were so many good versions of thing song I couldn't pick (shout out to Hilary Duff, Ashley Tisdale, Ariana Grande, and Glee for making great versions of this classic jam).

Now that you're all set with a brand new playlist for the holidays, don't forget to share some holiday love and kindness, cause the world knows we need it!
