13 First World Problems That We've All Unfortunately Experienced, They're The Literal Worst

It's 2019. Technology fills the world. We all carry smartphones, some of us have tablets, we own smart TVs, there are even little devices that sit in our homes and take orders from us. It's a crazy world, but technology isn't always great. Sometimes it glitches and causes us frustration, so you'll relate to these 13 things.

1. When there's no WiFi

What do I do without WiFi?????

2. When you're out of data

Because not everyone has unlimited, so what do we do without data or WiFi?!?!

3. When Snapchat is down

This has actually happened twice in the past week and it's been rough for the short amount of time it wasn't available.

4. When Instagram is down

This doesn't happen as often as with Snapchat, but I think it takes longer to get this one back up and running so that's not fun.

5. When they take away the fun Snapchat filters

Some of them disappear and reappear every once in a while and it's annoying. If you're planning to bring them back, why even get rid of them in the first place?!

6. When the WiFi isn't working

The WORST is when you have WiFi connection, but IT DOESN'T WORK!!!

7. Not getting enough likes on Instagram

I don't necessarily care if I get tons of likes, but dang, friends — like my stuff and support me.

8. When you see the same five people's posts on Facebook

So I know not everyone uses Facebook anymore, but for the ones that do, you understand.

9. When you have an iPhone, but the person you're texting doesn't

There's just something more satisfying about seeing a blue bubble with a little delivered message under it.

10. When you have to wait on your phone to update

Because the "30 minutes remaining" is always a lie.

11. Dropping your phone and hesitating to pick it up because you're secretly praying you didn't shatter the screen

The most agonizing moments of your life.

12. Having to turn your brightness up at fast food restaurants to scan their fancy apps for points

What a pain, TBH.

13. When your texts/snaps won't send

THE LITERAL WORST.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
