Although it has been easy to blame my recent increase in Netflix viewership on finals week stress, my addiction to "Gilmore Girls" is completely on me. There is something so calming about Stars Hollow, and all the people who live there, especially when your grades are crumbling down around you and you just need a break. However, as I have been watching, I have noticed that "Gilmore Girls" can describe this wonderful season of final exams to a tee.

1. Sitting down and realizing how much work you have to do by the end of the semester

How many more ALEKS topics for chemistry?

2. When you actually get down to studying

I wish I could be as good at studying as Rory Gilmore.

3. When someone asks how you are doing.

No, seriously, I am fine, I just have 15 weeks of knowledge to cram into my brain for these tests that I need to study for, as well as a project or paper for each class. But yeah. I'm great.

4. Making your to-do List

Uh-oh, looks like no sleep for me for a few weeks.

5. Caffeine.

Everyone must accept the inevitable at one point or another.

6. When you are almost done with your to-do list and see that you forgot to start an assignment that's due tomorrow

Seriously, how much time do you think I have to do work for this class?

7. When you finally get a chance to take a break and eat.

There is no such thing as healthy during finals.

8. The night before your exams

Who could sleep with that much anxiety and caffeine in their system?

9. When you hear that there will be a curve

God bless teachers that tell you if and how they will curve your final grades and exams.

10. Finally getting to see your family afterwards

Nothing is like coming back home.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
