As finals week approaches, I just need some pick me up. What better way to be motivated than by music? Here is my Finals Week Playlist:

1. "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" by Shania Twain

This song could honestly get me pumped up for a chess match, so I have no doubt in its abilities to get me ready for finals. Let's go, girls.

2. "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus

Finals are an uphill battle.

3. "Achy Breaky Heart" by Billy Ray Cyrus

If I don't do so well on these finals, just "don't tell my heart, my achy breaky heart."

4. "Carry On My Wayward Son" by Kansas

"Carry on my wayward son/ There'll be peace when you are done/ Lay your weary head to rest/ Don't you cry no more" Really, I just need the reminder to stop crying.

5. "Stayin' Alive" by Bee Gees

Need I say more?

6. "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" by Wham!

Ya know, just in case my alarm doesn't go off.

7. "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor

No other song will motivate you more.

8. "Cry Me a River" by Justin Timberlake

Okay, Justin. You're not asking too much. I already have a nice-sized creek of tears.

9. "S.O.S." by the Jonas Brothers

"ooh, this is an S.O.S."

10. "Waiting On the World to Change" by John Mayer

Or waiting on finals to get easier.

11. "Jack and Diane" by John Mellencamp

"Two American kids doing the best that they can" I sure hope life goes on long after finals.

12. "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith

I don't want to miss a question.

13. "I'm a Survivor" by Reba McEntire

*song that plays at the end of finals week*

14. "Bye Bye Bye" by *NSYNC

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
