Finals Week As Told By Miley Cyrus

From the innocent students excited about school to the crazy, mentally gone students attempting to succeed and probably failing, our finals week sounds a heck of a lot like a celebrity we all know. Shout out to Miley Cyrus for showing us what going crazy looks like so we all know what is going on in our sleep deprived, stressed out minds! I just hope we are able to channel it all a little better than she was- but hey she's got her comeback in full swing so you could say we will turn out alright no matter what!

"finals......already?"

This is the look that says.... is it really time for finals, haven't we only been in school for a few weeks?

"When you get told you have two finals on the SAME day!"

This is when you know that the universe LOVES you, when you are lucky enough to have two finals on one day, which means that you better cram for both these finals because they are coming up way too soon.

"I got this!"

Once we realize that we are going to nail our first final because we are smart, and have studied so hard for the past 24 hours that all we think algorithms so much that we can solve any problem. By the way, this is the best mentality to go into any test with- Miley wasn't wrong here with her constant confidence!

"Mini mental breakdown."

The face you get when your grade on your final project wasn't as high as you wanted it to. These are the tears of the wasted time that could have been spent studying for the next exam.

"Looking at how much studying you still have to do."

Just when you think you have conquered one final, or maybe even two but then you remember you still have two more which means so much more studying.

"Sleep deprived."

Yes I just pulled an all nighter, I guess you could say I'm kinda sleep deprived. So much studying has made me sleep deprived, thus ending in this weirdness. I guess we have school to blame for weird people...

"Study break to celebrate festive activities!"

It may be finals week (or weeks plural), but it is still Christmas time and one cannot forget to celebrate!

"Finally home for break!"

There is no better feeling than finally being home for break because this means that not only are finals over, but it is time for Christmas break to begin that means no school!

Time to let loose and sleep in your favorite bed!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
