It's Finals Season Again And Can I Just Drop Out At This Point?

It’s final exam season once again.

The time during the semester, a majority of college students drown their stress and worries in tubs of vanilla ice cream, Peanut M&M’s, Chocolate chip cookies, and an assortment of different gummy candy and pizzas. The time of the semester where many of us consider, dropping out, and finding a sugar daddy/or sugar mama to take care of all of our needs and wants.

We've all have asked ourselves:

"Do I really need to pass this 300 level Political Science class?"
"So, if I fail the final will I still pass the class?"
"Do C’s really still get degrees?"
"Stripping doesn't sound too bad."

While trying to cram a semester worth of material into a seven-day time frame, the stress of the world appears to be weighing down on us, and we begin to feel, overly exhausted, borderline insane, and extremely overweight. Realizing that one exam or paper may have to ability to bring down your stellar GPA.

Trust me, WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.

Long nights, early mornings, excessive amounts of coffee and Red Bulls to sustain us, as we eat the most convenient food that may be within our reach. Finals. One word, six letters, and one exam/paper that will ultimately determine how much we can memorize in such a short period of time (because personally procrastination and I have become great frenemies over the years).

As our floors become flooded with notes, index cards, junk food, dirty clothes, pens, highlighters, sticky notes, and we begin to lose our motivation, and faith in ourselves, remember we’re all in this together (Think “High School Musical”) and push through this difficult time.

Lean on your friends for support and guidance, STAY AWAY FROM DRUGS, eat delicious food, and make sure to get plenty of rest. Don’t stress yourself out about an exam that will not end your life. I promise you, your mental and physical health is so much more important than a grade that your professor puts together for you. If that doesn’t work, really just try your absolute best!

And at the end of it, TURN UP because you kicked that exam ass and you deserve it!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
