One child is trafficked every 30 seconds worldwide. Tiny Hands International is one of the many organizations that prevents human trafficking. Specifically, Tiny Hands is currently fighting in India, Nepal, Bangladesh, and South Africa. Their main goal is to fight human trafficking first hand. In order to do so, they have set up border monitoring stations and raising awareness to eventually end human trafficking.

After being founded in 2005, Tiny Hands has established an umbrella of organizations that provides support to daughter non-governmental organizations in developing countries around the world. The first of these countries to receive this support was Nepal, back in 2005. A few years later, Tiny Hands expanded their organizations to fight human trafficking in Bangladesh and India.

Ultimately, this organization is motivated to find the "greatest injustices." In order to do so, the leadership of Tiny Hands International began working at the India-Nepal border in attempt to prevent some of the 10,000 Nepali women from being trafficked to India for the sole purpose of sexual exploitation from crossing the border.

Since the foundation of Tiny Hands back in 2005, they have intercepted 11,019 victims from human trafficking (February 2017 report). And in 2016 alone they had intercepted 1,325 victims. After intercepting victims, Tiny Hand's goal is to find justice for these women and to give these victims a better lifestyle. They have designed the One Girl Prayer Initiative, which is not a fundraising effort but rather a prayer initiative.

In addition to the One Girl Prayer Initiative, Tiny Hands provides homes for orphaned, neglected, and/or abandoned children. These homes provide children with the loving, spiritual, and educational care that they truly deserve. As of right now, Tiny Hands International has children homes in India, Bangladesh, and Nepal. Their ultimate goal through this is to give every opportunity they can to these children, not only to survive but to thrive within their community.

As a Christian organization, Tiny Hands wants to expand His Kingdom beyond their successes in Nepal, India, South Africa and Bangladesh. God is calling this organization to find more countries where anti-trafficking help is needed, most of them beginning in 10 countries over the next 5 years. Beginning expansions within South Africa, it will be a great blueprint for the future of anti-trafficking.

Fighting for the "least of these" is what Tiny Hands and many other organizations are trying to accomplish. With the average age of trafficked victims being 15, Tiny Hands gives them hope. Hope that these victims can one day realize that they, themselves are priceless. By the time you have reached the end of this article, at least 5 children have just been trafficked. Join the fight to end human trafficking. Give them hope. Give them a voice. Pray for them.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
