Finally, a free moment after all of that.

WE FACED AN UNDEAD BLACK DRAGON, Oh my gods.

That was just crazy and I almost died. It was just awful. After that whole awfulness, we found a gem dragonborn and he was kinda a jerk. [amendment: major jerk] Out of that, I had something change. When I had been at my mother’s home, I found messaging gems. Well I had contacted my father and….I have a new name.

My name is Alexia. I am now named after the woman who raised my father.

It’s nice to have a new name that meant something. It’s helping in the process to start new. Starting over is harder than I first thought. I have my dad. This is going to be a long road, but a good road.

After a bit of sleep, it turns out that gem dragonborn went stab happy on Ali. So in return, we tried to do what he did to Ali. We tried to go stab happy. Well things don’t always turn out the way you want because the instance I tried to use my new demon stone and very long story short -

The demon in the stone took me over. Good news, that jerk was dead but I had attacked my friends in the process.

Thank the Gods for Dijen and his weirdly, wonderful strong power over these things. I still just don’t know how I feel about all of him.

I should also mention the fact that we faced a giant ape and then IT WAS TIME FOR HIRADOR.

Hirador was a giant behemoth which seems redundant now. With two well placed shots from Moriz, that necklace was off and he was easier to fight, in which we actually did fight him and killed him. First Vestige down.

We had found a lizard man named Ike and he was just - interesting.

Think that this is a great place to stop for now cause my hand is cramping.

Night,

Alexia Astar

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
