During winter break, I took it upon myself to eat the foods that I couldn't eat while living in a dorm. Hence, I came across the opportunity to eat my favorite ice cream of all time: Coffee Häagen-Dazs. Although eating an entire pint of ice cream isn't exactly a healthy choice, sometimes you just want ice cream. In fact, you want all of it. In my experience during winter break, these are the feelings and thoughts you experience while eating an entire pint of Häagen-Dazs:
1. "I'll just have a little."
This is the first mistake. You're trying to be healthy, so maybe you'll just have a spoonful... or two... or fifteen.
2. "This is really good, but I shouldn't eat the whole thing."
You've had enough ice cream, to the point where you could put it away and be fulfilled. Just think: you could have another couple experiences of eating this ice cream, instead of devouring it on the spot.
3. "But I'm halfway there, and it would be a shame to put only half in the freezer."
Once you've eaten half the ice cream, you're at the point of no return. You're a goner.
4. "Did I just eat that whole pint?"
Yes, yes you did.
5. "It was worth it."
After all, you knew all along that you would eat the entire pint anyway. Enjoy that ice cream, because you deserve it.
