Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and it is also my favorite! Greek yogurt is one of the best foods to eat for breakfast because it is protein filled which will keep you full for awhile, and you can do so many things with it. Let's be honest, plain Greek yogurt is not that good by itself, it's way too bitter, but that's why I get creative! I don't have a lot of patience when I am cooking, and I surely don't have a lot of time either. These recipes are healthy, delicious, and very quick to make.
1. Greek Yogurt Dip
Grab your bowl and put in:
-1/2 Cup of Plain Non-Fat Greek Yogurt
-1 Tablespoon of Organic Peanut Butter
-1 Packet of Truvia
Stir it up.
Use baby carrots or apple slices to dip.
2. Greek Yogurt Covered Fruit
In a bowl add:
-1/2 Cup of Plain Non-Fat Greek Yogurt or Vanilla Greek Yogurt (Don't add in other ingredients with the Vanilla Greek Yogurt)
-1 Packet of Truvia
You can add a little bit of vanilla extract too.
Stir the the mixture
Cover fruit in yogurt until in is fully covered.
Put it in a container and let it freeze overnight.
3. Greek Yogurt Banana Oatmeal "Pie"
Get your bowl and pour in:
-1/2 Cup of Old Fashion Oats
-1/2 Cup of Almond Milk
-1/2 Cup of Plain Non-Fat Greek Yogurt
Stir, then put in microwave for 2 minutes and 45 seconds
During this time slice up a ripe banana, measure your 1 Tablespoon of organic peanut butter, and take out your 1 packet Truvia. Then, when the oatmeal is finished cooking pour in your banana, peanut butter, and your packet Truvia into the bowl and stir.
Finally, what makes it a "pie" is crumble up one full rectangle of graham cracker on top!
This is my favorite and most filling breakfast that I make!
I hope that you can use these for breakfast! They are fast a delicious!
