15 Movies From My Almost Never-Ending List Of Favorites

Do not be mistaken. These are SOME of my favorite movies and they are not in any particular order- just the order in which I thought of them. This was incredibly hard for me.

With that being said, I recommend watching the movies on this list if you haven't seen them already. :)

1. Jigsaw

I like torture, gore, and a good mind-f*ck every now and then, what can I say?

2. The Lion King

lh5.ggpht.com

It's a classic. Don't argue with me.

3. The Greatest Showman

I cried in theaters, okay? The last musical number was beautiful and I listen to the soundtrack everyday. I may or may not sing as loudly as I can in my car as well. Don't judge me.

4. From Hell

A movie about Jack the Ripper AND Johnny Depp is in it. I enjoy a good mystery, especially when it involves murder. And it stars one of my top unrealistic sugar-daddy options, so win-win, am I right?

5. Forrest Gump

Obviously.

6. Van Helsing

Vampires, Kate Beckinsale, and a rugged Hugh Jackman? Yes please! Kate is gorgeous, and Hugh- OH MY GOD (this was the first movie I saw him without a shirt, so yeah).

7. Now You See Me (1&2)

Aside from the fact that the sequel should've been called "Now You Don't", I love magic tricks. It always blows my mind. And Morgan Freeman. Duh.

8. The Room (& The Disaster Artist)

It's just SOOOO bad!😂😂 And let's not forget that fact that the Franco brothers star in a cult-classic-based movie together :)

9. The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Speaking of cult-classics, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH FRANK N' FURTER

10. John Wick

All of them. Even the ones that don't exist yet. And Keanu.

11. Pirates of the Caribbean

c1.staticflickr.com

All of them (except the one with Penelope Cruz). Duh. Johnny Depp. Big Shocker, right? And Captain Jack running?😂

12. Get Out

c1.staticflickr.com

This movie was SO f*cked up. My mom and I started counting all the racist remarks and long track within the first 10 minutes. But it's a good movie. I recommend 100%.

13. A Few Good Men

c1.staticflickr.com

YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH

14. The Iron Giant

If you don't cry watching this as an adult, you don't have a heart.

15. Avengers: Infinity War

You didn't think I would seriously leave this out, did you?

I cried. Obviously. But I went with my guy friends to see this movie, and when I looked at them, there were tears in their eyes too. Followed with a "don't look at me" or "don't you dare judge me".

By the way, it was Starlord's fault 🤷

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
