Ever wonder what your favorite anime characters would be based on a college major?

1. Goku: Dragon Ball Saga

Major: Renewable Energy

Minor: Vocal Performance

At some point in Goku’s traveling around the galaxy and fighting so many bad guys, he decided to go to school. A major in Energy would help him understand how his powers are made and a Vocal Performance minor would help him with those “Kamehameha’s!”

2. Sakata Gintoki: Gintama

Major: Theatre

Minor: Business Management

The Gintama gang is always cracking jokes and making fun of other shows. Theatre would give Gintoki greater exposure to comedy and he would slay at stage fighting. Business Management would help him to run Odd Jobs smoother…who am I kidding, Sinpachi does all the work!

3. Ash Ketchum: Pokemon Franchise

Major: Zoology

This one was too easy.Ash has caught so many Pokemon that he practically has his own zoo. This program would help him to study their unique abilities. There’s just one problem: I don’t think he’ll ever be old enough to go college. Shouldn’t have made that wish, Ash…

4. Yuri Katsuki: Yuri On Ice!!!

Major: Sports Management

Minor: Dance

After becoming a world-famous figure skater, Yuri was ready for a new challenge. Inspired by his mentor and best friend Victor Nikiforav, Yuri wanted to take on his own prodigy. Not wanting to be all work and no play, he kept up his dancing and always made time to eat a pork cutlet bowl.

5. Yugi Moto: Yu-Gi-Oh!

Major: Game Design

Minor: Egyptology

After beating the Pharaoh in the ultimate game of Duel Monsters (moment of silence…okay good), Yugi wasn’t sure what to do next. His grandpa suggested that he go to Domino University and study his favorite subject: games. Wanting to honor the Pharaoh, Yugi would go on to study Egyptology as well and graduate at the top of his class.Poor Kaiba got salutatorian. He just can’t get out of second place, can he?

6. Monkey D. Luffy: One Piece

Major: Culinary School

Unfortunately, being a pirate isn’t a college major. On the run from Doflamingo, Luffy hid at the Culinary Institute of Dressrosa and became a favorite taste-tester for the rising chefs. This was short-lived, as Nami found him a few days later and proceeded to deduct thousands of berries from his account for causing her such grief.

7.Natsu Dragneel: Fairy Tail

Major: Engineering

Minor: Transportation

What better combination is there than building bridges (which need to be welded together) and a guy who can breathe fire? Using this knowledge, Natsu would go on to create a line of Dragon-Slayer safe vehicles that would prevent motion sickness. Maybe he would even go into business with Gajeel and open a blacksmith’s shop?

8. Kirito Kirgaya: Undecided

Just like all the RPG games he cycles through, Kirito just couldn’t decide! Luckily, Asuna is there to make sure he’s studying and not sneaking away to play games.

These are just a few of my favorite characters and ideas on their college lives. Tell me your favorite characters in the comments!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
