Faster Horses, one the best music festivals in the nation takes place in Brooklyn, MI. For one weekend Michigan International Speedway is turned into every country music lover's dream. A weekend full of country music, friends, and fun is exactly what you will find during the Faster Horses festival.
Winter is upon us and if you're like me the Faster Horses withdrawal is hitting hard. Every day I catch myself talking about the weekend of my life, the Party of the Summer. I'm constantly showing my friends pictures convincing them to come with me next year. Nothing beats soaking up the hot July sun with your best drinking buddies right by your side.

The friends you meet at Faster Horses will stay in your heart and hopefully camera roll forever. Who would have thought that a five-minute bus ride could lead to a fresh beer and blurry selfie with a complete stranger? Faster Horses is the best place to meet new drunk happy friends, I have even met a few of my own.
The party is always going at FH. From redneck slip and slides, to Faster Humans, and endless games of beer pong, there is always something to do. I can't say that before Faster Horses I played a game of rage cage at 10 a.m., but I'll tell you I don't regret it a bit. The nightlife is even better. No one is ready for the party to stop after the concerts, so you stumble back to your campsite just looking for more. A bon fire with your friends or a flashlight lit game of flip cup, the party never stops.
The music at Faster Horses is obviously a highlight too. Hearing your idols belt out the words of your favorite songs as you slur the words along with them is quite the experience. Swaying to the music with your drink in the air makes every worry go away in a flash. The headliners are always my favorite but don't forget to hit up the Next From Nashville tent, there's some gems in there too.
In the end Faster Horses can only be understood if you've spent your weekend at MIS with thousands of strangers at the Party of the Summer. The insane amounts of money spent on alcohol and the three day hangover are worth every second of your time there. The memories made in one weekend will last a lifetime. July can't come quick enough.
