How you can make quick cash, when you need it most!

As a college student, I am always in need of money, for school, bills, housing, etc. Stressing about money, is never something someone wants. In always need of cash, I have multiple things that you can do, to make that payment on time. And no they are not going to take months to earn you money, you will be getting cash in hand, same day!

Trust me, there are clothes in your closet that you have not worn in months, maybe years. So, what better way to make some spare cash, than by selling your clothes. Plato's Closet is my go to place, to sell my unused clothes. Plato's Closet also takes more than clothes. They take, shoes, accessories, and purses. So clean out that closet, and make some cash! And, Plato's closet accepts both women and men clothes. Just know, that you will have to leave your items to get appraised, and then based on your items condition, brand, and need, they will let you know how much they will buy your items for. And then off you go, with cash in hand, and a clean closet too! Check Plato's Closet out here:

Look around you, there is bound to be something in your room or home that you are not using or need. Make some quick cash off those items, by using selling apps on your phone. Apps like, 5miles, Offer Up, and Let go, allow you to post and sell items through their app. Just snap a picture, price/describe and then post! Have Facebook? Then utilize their own selling application, Facebook Marketplace. Similar to selling apps, Marketplace also allows you to post on your feed. You never know, someone you know, may want what you are selling. All these selling applications, allow you to safely message through the app, without ever having to give out your phone number.

You are not only helping yourself, by making money, but you will also be saving and benefiting someone else's life. Find your local plasma or blood donation clinic, and schedule an appointment. Your 1 donation of blood will save 3 lives, so why not donate your blood. Just be sure to eat and drink plenty of fluids before hand. And maybe take a driver, if this is your first time giving blood or platelets, as you may get ill after. And with platelets you can make up to $300 a month! So schedule your appointment to give now!

These are just a few, things I have tried or done, when in need of cash. So, if you are ever in need of money, try one of these 3 ways to make fast cash.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

There have been many lessons learned.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Dealing with the inevitable realities of college life.

college students waiting in a long line in the hallway

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
