In case you haven’t heard, there is a new film coming out, which connects us to our favorite wizarding world. "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" is another story coming from one our favorite authors (J.K. Rowling) that is being brought to the big screen. I fangirled very hard when I heard that a new trailer was being released at the MTV movie awards, and I’m sure millions everywhere were doing the same. We as an audience were just shown a new trailer for the movie and I have a few questions about the trailer. Let’s begin with what we know and then start on the things we still need to learn.
We are brought to America in this film, so no Platform 9 ¾.
Eddie Redmayne will be playing none other than Newt Scamander, the famed magical zoologist. He is also precious.
Katherine Waterston plays the role of witch Porpentina Goldstein.
Alison Sudol plays the role of Queenie, Porpentina’s sister.
Dan Fogler plays a nonmagical character named Jacob Kowalski who wants to open a bakery but ends up joining the rest of the group’s shenanigans. Nonmagical people in this film are called No-Maj, but I’m still calling them Muggles.
So if you watch the trailer below you can ask all of the questions just like me. That is if you haven’t seen the new trailer because you are living under a rock. Then you’ll see all the glory and questions left unanswered that I’m asking.
So what type of trouble is going on right as Newt arrives to America?
Colin Farrell, what are you doing here?
Why are they running?
Albus Dumbledore is mentioned, will he make an appearance?
Was that portal needed when jumping off the top of a building?
Will there be any Quidditch?
What was that hand reaching out of the briefcase?
Where was Newt going when going down into the briefcase? (Reminds me of "Alice in Wonderland").
These answers will have to wait to be answered until November! What is a muggle like me to do without these answers? Solution go to the premiere when it comes out dressed in Harry Potter gear like any other Harry Potter freak, while humming along to Hedwig's song. That is what will be happening in my life come November 18, 2016. Until then I will just stick to watching this trailer over and over again praying for more of a glimpse into this world of wizarding in America.
Also I’m a Gryffindor. I bleed red and gold, and cheer on the sidelines for a win at Quidditch matches.
Everything from this magical world belongs to the wonderful J.K. Rowling because she is the queen.
