"Fallout 4," the post-apocalyptic role playing game is set in Boston Massachusetts in the year 2287, 110 years following a devastating nuclear war that destroyed most of the United States. After narrowly escaping a nuclear death, you wake up in a cryo-chamber in Vault 111. In "Fallout 4" you play the Sole Survivor of Vault 111, set on finding your infant son Shaun. Your character sets off, trekking across the wasteland encountering radioactive creatures, raiders and decimated neighborhoods. There are plenty of quests along they way which allow you to side with opposing factions, each choice you make alters the story line further. "Fallout 4" features character progression and a developing quest line that is tailored to your individual choices. It also features a fully customizable character and traits to allow full immersion into the atmosphere of the game.
Bethesda Game Studios has created "Nuka-World," the sixth and final DLC (downloadable content) for "Fallout 4," is set to release on August 30, 2016. The DLC is rumored to be larger than "Far Harbor," which released on May 19, 2016. In this DLC you will be taken to Nuka-World, a pre-war theme park based on the popular fictitious drink, Nuka-Cola. The only way you can get the first quest to have the ability to reach Nuka-World is by being level 30 or greater (which, let's face it: if you love the game as much as I do it really doesn't take that much effort). When you arrive there you discover that Nuka-World is occupied by a faction of raiders. Through a reveal from the official Fallout Facebook page it appears that you can settle raider camps and have raiders at your disposal to attack and capture other settlements. There are several new quests with the DLC as well as 10 new achievements to earn, which were shown through a release of PS4 trophies. Nuka-World features a number of different zones to the park that you can explore. They are: World of Refreshments, Safari Adventure, Nuka-Town USA, Kiddie Kingdom and Galactic Zone.
Two interesting mascots for the park, Bottle and Cappy, have been featured in the trailer. Information aside, it would be awesome to have these mascots as a unique boss who drops special items.
However, there are some new mob types. They include: rad-rats, flying ant swarms, and nukalurks. The DLC is releasing to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on August 30th. If you do not own the season pass (which is available for $50), you can pick up Nuka-World for $20 either in store, online or through a digital download. Happy playing!
