With the official first day of fall just around the corner, I feel like it's appropriate to start thinking about the wonderful things the come with this wonderful season. So here I leave you with the best reasons to love the fall.

1. Fall Fashion

There's just something about the weather being just right for sweaters, leggings and boots that makes fall so wonderful.

2. Apple Everything

Apples, apple cider donuts, apple cider, apple pie, candy apples, you name it and it's probably around during the fall. Besides who doesn't love apples.

3. The Return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte

Despite being known as the ultimate "basic" drink, the sight of it at Starbucks is a sign of fall. Besides they actually do taste quite fabulous.


4. Leaves Changing Colors

There's just something so beautiful about the leaves changing colors, falling onto the streets, and well let's be honest it's super fun to take photos of. #doitforthegram

5. Halloween

Whether it's the free candy, fun parties, looking at how decorations, or dressing up in fun costumes, Halloween is pretty fabulous. Especially in college, Halloweekend is always a blast.

6. Thanksgiving

Great food, and even better company. It's the best time of the year for the gloriousness that is turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, and endless desserts like apple pie and pumpkin pie.

7. Football

Whether you like football or not, there's always sense of pride when you're cheering for your college or home state. Also it's always a great gathering of people when football parties happen. Shout out to all my fellow UO Ducks fans out there.

8. Perfect Weather

The best part about fall weather is the fact that it's not too cold but it's not hot. It's perfect for doing all sorts of outdoorsy things, wearing sweaters and boots, apple picking and all that.

So there you have it, eight reasons to fall in love with fall.
