Essential Items in my Closet This Fall

My six favorite clothing items that I wear everyday in the fall.

Essential Items in my Closet This Fall

As the cooler weather is approaching, summer clothes are being switched out with autumn outfits. The great thing about these six items is that they can be paired with almost anything!

A Flannel

Each fall I bring out my L.L. Bean oversized, worn-in flannel and I get so much use out of it. I love wearing it with t-shirts to class and when I am lounging around working on assignments. Flannel's can also be cute buttoned and dressed up.

Dr. Martens

I have the Women's 1460 Smooth Black Dr. Martens and I think they are the perfect boots for fall. My favorite outfit to style them with is rolled up, mom jeans and literally any top. I also see some people style them really well with a short dress, sweater, and socks.

Athletic Leggings

Leggings are crucial. Personally, I prefer Fabletics leggings (they are good as lululemon just a lot cheaper) because they have the perfect thickness and stay up on my hips. I wear my leggings with every type of top and will be wearing them every single day to class.

Flare Jeans

Flare jeans are my favorite pants to go out in because they can be dressed up or more casual. Last weekend I wore my high-rise black pair with a scarf top and platforms.

Fuzzy Sweater

Over the weekend I purchased a baby pink, cropped, fuzzy, turtle-neck sweater from Forever 21. An item like this will be so fun to wear on a night out that is more chilly.

Jean Jacket

Jean jackets are perfect for every occasion, I wear mine with t-shirts, sweaters, and dresses. I've even seen girls where them over jerseys on game days! Jean jackets are also easy to personalize with patches, stitching, and paint.

These fall essentials can be styled anyway to fit your personality. Wether you are going to class, going out, or going to the fair, these items can help make any outfit complete!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
