It's almost October, which means it's almost Halloween, which means you're probably watching Halloween Movies around this time. There are so many classic movies that I personally watch every year like "Double Double, Toil and Trouble" and "Barney: Halloween." Long story short, I've watched that since I was a little girl, and the tradition stuck! For my second post about loving every part of Fall, here are a few movies you should check out this Scary Season!
1. Halloween (1978)
"The Night He Came Home." This movie is such a classic. I can't choose between the cheesy scares, or the "scary" music for my favorite part of this film.
2. It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown
This movie always reminds me of family time. I remember watching Charlie Brown specials when I was a little girl and how being together as a family made me so happy. You can never go wrong with Charlie Brown.
3. Double, Double, Toil & Trouble
Bringing back what I said before, this movie is one of my favorites to watch around Halloween. Even as an adult, this movie still gives me the eebie-jeebies! This movie is perfect for date nigh or family night. Especially if you're a 90s baby like me, you will enjoy the old "Mary-Kate and Ashley" part of this movie.
4. The Conjuring (1 or 2)
This movie is by far my favorite modern day horror film. Based on a true story, this film will make you jump out of your skin. The second one is even better. I highly recommend these movies if you enjoy a scare!
5. Scary Movie (1-4)
Whether you like this movie or not, I guarantee you watch it over and over around this time of the year. The stupid humor and raunchy characters give Halloween and horror movies a whole new meaning.
6. House Of Wax
Three words. Chad. Michael. Murray. Contrary to his beautiful character "Lucas" off of "One Tree Hill", Chad has a different persona in this film. He is still attractive, still strong, but much more dark. This movie is pretty sadistic at times, so be sure to watch the trailer before viewing.
7. The Silence of The Lambs
"Hello Clarice." Even if you've never seen this movie, you know that slogan. This movie sends chills up and down your spine, making you experience fear like never before.
8. Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Although both old and new versions of this movie are phenomenal, I feel that the old one is the superior of the two. There is just something about the story-line that brings this movie to life.
9. Pet Sematary
There are so many more movies that are worthy of watching this season. If you would like a link to the Top 100 Best Horror Movies, click here! If you're satisfied with the list I have given you, I hope you got some thrill and adrenaline pumping through your veins. Happy Scary Movie season!!
