At this time, every year, we all begin to dream about what the fall season is to bring. Whether it is a yard full of auburn, brown and golden leaves or cool enough weather to break out our cutest cardigans and boots. But here in the South our dreams are easily trumped because we live in Texas. The state where it's 90 degrees year round. Here is a compilation of the most talked about Fall dreams on the coast, and what reality has delivered to us.

Expectation: November 1st means cooler weather!

Reality: You remember you live in the South, on the coast.

Expectation: Leaves are beginning to change colors and fall.

Reality: You're surrounded by palm trees. Lots and lots of palm trees.

Expectation: Collecting (hoarding) every fall-scented candle you can find.

Reality: You only hoard one because they are hella expensive.

Expectation: It is the perfect time to settle down with someone special.

Reality: You're as single as a Pringle.

Expectation: The perfect Thanksgiving holiday

Reality: Everyone is just as ungrateful as every other day.

Expectation: Unbelievable Black Friday sales.

Reality: It is complete and utter madness.

Happy fall y'all!
