10 #FakeSkywalkerFacts Tweets To Help Fans Kick Off Star Wars Day

Star Wars Day is a fun holiday to celebrate, whether you are a super fan of the Star Wars franchise or just interested in the science-fiction genre. Fans from around the world made it a holiday, not George Lucas. This is what makes the day so unique. People often celebrate by cos-playing as their favorite character, sending gifs, listening to the amazing soundtrack and watch the prequels (if you can handle it), the original trilogy and/or the sequel trilogy. No matter how you choose to celebrate, make sure to have blast, and check out these 10 funny Star Wars related tweets to start the holiday.

1. Luke was OK kissing his sister since she's one of the only women in the whole movie

This was definitely an weird scene. Anyone who did not watch the prequels would not find that moment awkward, but for those who did, they might say it was the most cringeworthy part of the original trilogy.

2. Luke was married in Star Wars, but misheard Obi-Wan's advice as "Use divorce, Luke"

Luke Skywalker was too busy training to become a Jedi Master, saving the universe twice from the Galactic Empire, and finding a place to isolate himself. He never found time to settle down and break the Jedi laws by secretly getting wed.

3. Rey is a Skywalker

She already got Luke's X-wing, lightsaber, Jedi text, and the home where he grew up, so why not his last name as well?

4. This scene was not a filming mistake but Luke actually force kick this turd

Anything is possible. Everyone that watched this movie noticed that Luke missed, but perhaps it was the force all along.

1. Rey changed her name to Skywalker so she could go into Tosche Station and pick up Luke's order of power converters that have been sitting on the shelf for 60 years

When you think about it, Luke never did pick up those power converters. I guess they really were not that important.

6. He had a healthy, loving relationship with his father

Vader redeemed himself after the final lightsaber battle that ended with him sacrificing himself. So, family drama resolved?

7. Lightsabers Can Be Used to Entertain Cats

Lightsabers help cat videos go viral. The force is strong here.

8. He demanded Darth Vader give him a lot of gifts to make up for all the missed birthdays and Christmas's

Even only that were possible. Vader did not even apologize for cutting his hand off and Luke had to get a new one himself.

9. When the family heard about Rey

Rey took the name Skywalker, but it would have been a much bigger twist if she chose a different one. Any other name.

10. Rey only kissed Ben to get the rest of his life force, causing him to die

Rey is a pretty, confident, iron-willed, bilingual mechanic, ace-pilot, and Jedi. Would not be a bad way for Ben Solo to die.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
