The turn of the year always promises new opportunities, experiences and trends. The new year also provides everyone the chance to let go of everything they disliked in the previous year and try their best to start anew. As 2016 approaches, we are faced with the choice of continuing the way we lived our lives in 2015 or completely remodeling for the new year. Come January 1st, we are given the perfect chance to rid ourselves of the obnoxious fads that we saw in 2015. These include:
200-Second Snapchat Stories
You might have more fun if you set your phone down and actually enjoy your night out instead of documenting every single moment of it for all of your Snapchat friends to see.
"Bae"
You would have thought this would have vanished after it first surfaced in 2014. Nonetheless, it reappeared in 2015. There are better terms of endearment to use, I promise.
Frozen
Maybe 2016 will be the year that you will be able to walk into a department store and not be bombarded by Frozen propaganda. LET IT GO!
Selfies
In 2015, you took selfies from every angle, therefore, you have no angles left for 2016. Its time to stop.
Taking Pictures With Your iPad
I'm talking to all of the Moms out there with your fancy new iPads…Its not cool. Please stop.
"Hipsters"
Now that everyone is a hipster, maybe everyone will revert back to being non-hipsters because its cool again? Who knows.
The fads of 2015 may vanquish, however, we all know there will be new trends-turned fads in 2016. Happy New Year and Good Riddance!
