It seems to be a new trend in the gag gift world; send your loved ones ironic packets of bacon flavored dental floss. Many of those great random variety stores you find on tucked away amongst the bustling storefronts of name brand retailers are often stocked full of miscellaneous and unique trinkets. They also tend to have these peculiar items such as oddly flavored dental floss or breath mints or gums in stock. Then, there seems to be a market for chocolate and cupcake flavored toothpastes. What’s the allure behind these products? What tempts people to put these oddly flavored products in their mouths and don’t they like that minty fresh feeling left behind by traditional gums, mints, and toothpastes? Let’s take a look shall we?
First off, let me present to you bacon flavored toothpaste. What’s better then cleaning ridding your mouth of the remains of your last meal or general mouth funk than adding the smokey aftertaste of artificial bacon flavored gel?
It’s probably be best to pair this with the bacon dental floss as well or even the bacon flavored chewing gum for when you need a little meaty refresher.
If bacon isn’t your route then perhaps you’d like to try the dill pickle breath mints for those moments when the only taste you want in your mouth is the taste of crisp dill pickles but really can’t seem to open that jar.
Feeling more like dessert? Fear not, cupcake flavored gum is also an option as well as cupcake or chocolate flavored toothpastes for those of you with a real sweet tooth.
I would recommend (if you are feeling adventurous) combining all the products to create you're own palette of flavors, essentially creating your own meal that consists of, well, not food. Try it.
Basically, if you search hard enough you can satisfy almost any craving with your everyday oral hygiene products. While these products are mostly found in stores with your everyday ironic knickknacks and sarcastic cards, a lot of these products can be found on Amazon.com because what can’t you find on Amazon?
